After graduating from Flagler College in St Augustine, Florida, I worked for a Children's Advocacy program in Volusia County. Before teaching at Gaylord High School, I taught  at The Lighthouse School on Beaver Island, an alternative residential program.

I began teaching English Language Arts at Gaylord High School in 2014. Although I taught AP Literature for several years, I have primarily taught Freshmen English. Along with teaching, I enjoy spending my time travelling, hiking, camping and painting. Currently, I live with my life partner and our sweet loving dog.
